Judith Harris


Judith is a registered member of the NCS and works with adults, either on a one-to-one basis or as part of couples counselling. Judith is an integrative counsellor who draws on a range of approaches to ensure that her work is tailored to you and your cirumstances. She has experience with working with those with a clinical diagnosis, and who want to look at different ways of managing their mental health.


Judith has valuable experience working in the mental health sector helping and supporting people back into the community. She is qualified to Diploma level in Integrative Counselling and holds a Certificate in Working with Couples.

Dave Latham


David is a registered BACP Counsellor with over 12 years of experience, working with adults and young people. He has extensive training and experience working with : 

  • Schools-Children (and with Special Educational needs) families with children diagnosed with ADHD or Autism. 
  • Pre/Post-Bereavement (including support of Children 8 years and above) 
  • Families affected by the Condition MND (Patients and Family members). 

 

In addition, Dave is now offering Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) - this is a form of talk psychotherapy which uses mindfulness as one of its main tools. At the heart of ACT is the goal of helping you live a more meaningful and productive life by developing what it refers to as “psychological flexibility”. This is essentially about learning to accept what you can’t control, and then recognising and committing to taking the actions that will improve your life and moods. ACT therapy can be offered as either a short-term therapy or long-term therapy, depending on what your requirements are.


Along with his counselling training David is also trained in Health and Social Care and is a SAIF Bereavement Care Associate Counsellor. He is experienced with Relationship / Family Support Issues, Addictions (including Gambling issues). Child Protection Issues, Cancer Related Illnesses (supporting Patient and Family Member), and working with Single/Separated Fathers.

Jayne Wheeler


Jayne is a registered member of BACP and works from a person-centred approach with teenagers and adults, providing a safe, non-judgemental and confidential space for you to explore your experiences and putting you at the centre of the process. 


Jayne has experience working with trauma, anxiety, depression, stress and self-esteem. She has also specialised for the past ten years working with survivors of sexual abuse. 


The hardest part of accessing counselling is reaching out for help, but in doing so your journey of empowerment starts.

The counselling process offers an opportunity to work through issues you are experiencing or have experienced, no matter how big or small they feel. Whether you are experiencing work-based anxiety, relationship issues or the effects of the pandemic, Jayne can offer an individualistic approach.

Heather Clunie


Heather is a registered member of BACP who has been awarded an MSc in Counselling Psychology from Keele University. Heather will offer you a calm and safe space to talk through your thoughts, feelings and experiences. She will listen to you and support you, will not judge you or tell you what to do, and firmly believes that you are the expert on yourself. You know yourself best. Heather will work with you at whatever pace you set, and give you the space to find your own solutions and ways forward.

Rhian Walters


Rhian is a member of the BACP, and studied at Newman University, qualifying with a Foundation Degree in Integrative Counselling. Rhian's approach to counselling and client work is tailored to the clients needs, ensuring they are central to the process. 


Rhian works with adults 18+ and works with a variety of issues. Rhian currently works for another organision, with people who have experienced sexual violence, coersion and rape. She understands that these can be very sensitive and traumatic circumstances and appreciates the difficulties clients may experience because of this. Rhian aims to offer, to anyone, a safe place to explore and make sense of their current world.

Rachel Watton


Rachel is a qualified integrative counsellor working on a one to one basis with adults 18 years and over offering a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space for her clients to explore aspects of their life that may seem overwhelming.

Rachel’s approach is warm and supportive enabling the client to gain a greater awareness of themselves.

Rachel offers face to face or online sessions which can be short or long term depending on the clients needs.

Rachel is a registered member of the BACP and is advanced DBS checked.

Tom Rees


Tom is trained as a Human Givens Psychotherapist. The Human Givens framework focuses on what people need in their lives to be emotionally healthy and therapy looks together at how you can use your innate resources more effectively to meet these needs. Within this Tom’s approach is empathic, fluid and flexible, drawing on a range of evidence-based techniques and approaches to suit you as the client. It is effective often within few sessions and for a wide range of concerns, including anxiety and depression.


Tom’s therapy work is with adult clients. His referrals are mostly from private individuals, but also accepted from health and education providers and from charities. He has worked for over twenty years as an Educational Psychologist and finds the Human Givens approach to be helpful not only in his face-to-face work with children and young people, but also in increasing parental and staff well-being.

Susan Farrell


Susan is a qualified therapist; a registered member of the BACP and has been working with clients since January 2018. She has experience of working with a variety of client issues including bereavement, anxiety, depression, childhood trauma, relationship issues (either personal or family), sexual identity.


As an integrative therapist she adapts her work to best meet the needs of each client and their unique situation: focusing on clients’ experiences, past and present, rather than a symptom or specific psychological problem; working together to try to achieve goals or find the understanding clients seek in order to move forward in life.

Steph Willows


Offering a safe, welcoming and inclusive space to explore your experiences, thoughts and feelings, Steph provides open ended person-centred counselling to adults, as well as young people over the age of 14.


Experienced in a variety of areas, Steph works with clients going through many different issues including bereavement and loss, identity, sex and relationships, self-harm, depression and anxiety.


Steph is a member of the BACP and is committed to anti discriminatory practice. She is an LGBTQ+ affirming therapist.

Sian Smith


Sian has worked as a therapist for the past 26 years and is passionate about the way in which therapy can make a difference. She has experience of working within mental health services, staff support services and private practice, so is aware that therapy can provide the tools and skills to develop a greater understanding of ourselves and our life experience and help us look at what we need.


Sian’s approach is integrative, drawing on the thinking that underpins both psychodynamic and person centred counselling practice. She specialises in areas of depression, anxiety, loss, relationship and sexuality issues, and also works with individuals whose spirituality/faith is an important part of their lives.


Sian also offers clinical supervisions for qualified counsellors and trainees.

Mandy Jones


Mandy is an integrative counsellor and a registered member of the BACP who works on a one to one basis with adults or as part of couples counselling, in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment. She use different tailored approaches, including CBT, Person-Centred and Psychotherapy techniques, to meet clients needs.


Mandy has worked in various roles within the NHS for 27 years, most recently in Mental Health Services, with clinical diagnoses of anxiety/depression, OCD, low-confidence/self-esteem, postnatal depression, trauma, panic attacks, LGBTQ+, personality disorders, bipolar affective disorder, PTSD and EUPD.  She also has experience working with people pre and post bereavement.


She has a specialist interest in couples counselling and relationship difficulties.


Mandy has regular peer group and individual supervision, to make sure she works to the standards of the BACP Ethical Framework.

Deborah Glover


Deborah is a fully qualified and GHR Registered Clinical Hypnotherapist, specialising in the physical and emotional health and well-being of women of all ages, including girls over the age of 6 years.  She also has a special interest in managing chronic illness, particularly chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia and pain management, and has been able to support many women struggling to cope with challenging personal circumstances. These have included past trauma, depression and anxiety, eating disorders, chronic illness, phobias and panic disorder.


Skilfully employed, Clinical Hypnotherapy can be effective for a wide range of issues, habits and disorders, especially those stress and anxiety based.  Using deep and purposeful relaxation techniques, we can access and utilise the power of the subconscious mind to overcome a multitude of difficulties and challenges, from insomnia to grief, self-esteem to obsessive compulsive disorder, symptoms of menopause to pain-free birthing.

Louise Creswick

Lou Haddon


Lou is a qualified counsellor and a member of the BACP. 


Lou works in a Person-Centred approach to counselling and believes that you are the expert of your own life and within your sessions will help to explore your experiences and feelings to try and understand them better and make sense of what is going on with you.

 Nicky’s style is warm and empathetic, having an integrative approach (which means she’s trained in a number of methods of therapy) which allows her to tailor the counselling to your pace, circumstances and needs.
